INDUS Fest
Carnatica organized all day fine arts mela on April 22nd 2016 show casing the best of Indian arts through a blend of music and dance featuring performances by the young local talents of Dallas and celebrities from India. Highlights of this year’s event:
- Mini Concerts (Individual and Group) by local talents.
- Individual poerformances by Sangeet Samraat 2015 winners (first, second and third prize winners)
- Feature Concerts by eminent India based artists - Carnatica Brothers Nrithya Kutcheri with Smitha Madhav, Nirmala Rajasekar and S. Aishwarya.
Sri Thyagaraja Dance Drama
Carnatica organanized on April 2nd the popular musical play "Sri Thyagarajar" (Director: Shri. T.V.Varadarajan and Music Direction by Oscar Nominee Vid. Bombay Jayashree). This show was extremely beneficial to all music and dance students.
